I came across this map from @planetepics the other day. It is very simple, and conveys a tremendous amount of information about our world. I don't know who actually put it together.

— Planet Earth (@planetepics) January 11, 2014I remember seeing tweets from folks in Canada and Australia questioning why, relatively speaking, nothing seemed to be happening in their country in the world births/deaths statistical simulation I was working on a while back. I think that this map does a good job of explaining that.
