Good bye, all you little .svn directories...

I have thought the world of subversion, especially when it first appeared on the scene compared to cvs. I have used it for many projects, and generally had no significant complaints.

But I think it is time to say good bye and move on to git. Other quirks to deal with, I'm sure, but I won't miss the little endearing things of subversion that have really seemed to burn my time lately when working in eclipse. Hopefully a lot less failed "Clean Up" to try to deal with svn locks or whatever confused state it gets in.

It will be strange to not see all those tiny .svn directories everywhere...
